The Kubota Z482-E4 is a compact 2-cylinder diesel engine for Kubota BG Series generators. This vertical water-cooled 4-stroke diesel engine was developed for generator applications where reliability, compact installation and low emissions are important.
With standby power of 8.9 kW @ 3600 rpm and continuous power of 8.1 kW @ 3600 rpm, the Z482-E4 delivers stable performance for generator setups. The engine has a displacement of 0.479 L, is naturally aspirated and uses indirect injection with an inline fuel pump.
The Kubota Z482-E4 meets EPA/CARB Tier 4 and is Stage V ready. The engine requires no aftertreatment, keeping it compact and easily applicable within generator setups.
