The Kubota WG972-N-E4 is a compact 3-cylinder industrial CNG engine from the Kubota WG Series. This vertical water-cooled 4-stroke spark ignited engine is designed for applications where low emissions, reliability and fuel flexibility are important.
With an output of 20.4 kW @ 3600 rpm and maximum torque of 63.1 Nm @ 2000 rpm, the WG972-N-E4 delivers stable performance in a compact design. Designed based on the reliable Kubota Super Mini diesel engines, it offers low noise and vibration levels.
The Kubota WG972-N-E4 runs on CNG and meets EPA Phase 3, CARB Phase 4 and EU Stage V emissions standards. Thanks to the three-way catalytic converter, emissions are effectively reduced while the engine remains suitable for industrial applications where clean combustion and reliable uptime are key.
